This page explains how Wenvar Pty Ltd (ACN 701 739 700, "Wenvar", "we") handles information, both for visitors to this website and for teams using the Wenvar register. We keep it in plain language on purpose. Questions are welcome at hello@wenvar.com.au.

This website

If you send the request-access form we collect what you type: your name, work email, company, optional team size and message, plus the campaign parameters that brought you here (for example a LinkedIn link tag). We use it to reply to you and for nothing else. The form is processed by our form provider, Formspree, and delivered to our mailbox.

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and operations.

The Wenvar register

For teams using the product we hold:

• Account details: name, work email, site role, and the phone registered to the account.
• Project photos and their records: the image, the time and location measured at capture, the address, captions, tags, and who took each photo.
• Membership records: which people belong to which projects, and changes to that over time.

Site photos frequently contain personal information: people, vehicles, precise locations and times. We treat the whole register accordingly, and access to a project’s records is limited to that project’s members.

Where information is stored

The register’s database, photo storage and application functions run in the Sydney region, Australia. Some processing crosses the border: when a caption is suggested for a photo, a downsized copy of that photo and the project name are sent to our AI provider to draft the caption, and looking up a street address for a photo’s coordinates uses a mapping service. More detail is on the security page.

Who else touches it

• Our hosting and infrastructure providers, which store the register and serve this website.
• Our AI provider, which receives downsized photo copies to draft captions.
• Mapping providers, which turn photo coordinates into street addresses and serve map imagery.
• Our form provider (Formspree), which processes website enquiries.

We do not sell information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Access, correction and deletion

Ask us at hello@wenvar.com.au and we will help with access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. For records inside a customer’s project register, we may need to work through that customer, since the register is theirs.

Changes

When this page changes we update the date at the top. Significant changes to how the register handles data are communicated to customers directly.
